Each Sunday at 9AM, the Holy Rhost Cafe’ is open and and ready to take your order. We also have doughnuts and regular coffee available for free. We invite you to join other members of The Sanctuary for a time of fellowship before our morning classes.
We also have per-service prayer from 9:00-9:45AM in our multipurpose room.

Every Sunday at 10AM, we have targeted classes for all ages - from the youngest to the oldest - that help each member of the family grow in their relationship with God.

Each Sunday at 11AM, The Sanctuary gathers for our weekly worship service. You can expect exuberant worship, powerful prayer, and passionate preaching, but most of all, you can expect God to meet you wherever you are at.

Each Wednesday night at 7PM, The Sanctuary family gathers together for a time of worship and study of God’s Word. There are also special services for our kids and youth happening at this time.

Meet our pastor and family
Mitchell Bland is the Pastor of The Sanctuary in Hazelwood, Missouri. He received his master’s degree in counseling in 2005. Besides his duties at the church, he is also an adjunct professor at Urshan College, does counseling, seminars, and some writing.
Mitchell is married to Janelle Bland and together they have one son, Skyler. Janelle was a school teacher for over 19 years. She started and ran her own school for four years, then was a kindergarten teacher followed by being a first grade teacher at New Life Christian Academy in Bridgeton, Missouri, for 15 years. Janelle now helps Mitchell pastor The Sanctuary. She is a true gift from God to everyone who meets her. Mitchell, Janelle, and Skyler love each other deeply and enjoy life to its fullest, together.
